Promoting Global Town Development and a More Livable Future

Mr. Yanbing Chen, Executive Chairman of the International Towns Federation (ITF), attended the Clinton Global Initiative (CGI) 20th Anniversary Meeting held in New York City on September 23, 2025, where he met and was photographed with former U.S. President Bill Clinton.

During the event, Chairman Chen delivered a keynote address titled “Promoting Global Town Development and Enhancing Livability.”

He emphasized that towns are vital pillars of the global economic and social system, and that advancing their sustainable development is essential to achieving shared prosperity and a sustainable future for humanity.

Chairman Chen highlighted that the International Towns Federation is dedicated to fostering global collaboration among towns and communities, promoting resource sharing, green development, and innovative governance to build healthier, more livable, and happier communities worldwide.

He also shared ITF’s guiding vision — “Better Towns, Better Life!” — a declaration that embodies his confidence and determination to create a brighter, more equitable future for towns and communities around the world.

Chairman Chen reaffirmed that the International Towns Federation looks forward to deepening its partnership with the Clinton Global Initiative, working together to advance sustainable growth and shared prosperity worldwide.
