Application of Urbanization Fund of International Towns Federation Towns

Overview:

In order to bring together the strength and wisdom across the world , to share experiences of the development of towns, and to build a platform for cooperation and joint actions on sustainable development of towns around the world, the International Towns Federation (ITF) with partners across the world are planning to jointly launch the Urbanization Fund.

Principle:

Focusing on various urbanization projects on global urbanization developments, to facilitate cooperation on sustainable urbanization approaches among a variety of diverse stakeholders; to work collaboratively on several perspectives of sustainable development for urban areas, and to innovate ideas to improve urban environments and urbanization processes worldwide.

Purpose:

Taking the "International Towns Forum " as a platform to promote the

sustainable development of global urbanization. Focusing on the implementation of New-type Urbanization Strategy to carry out the international technical exchanges and dialogues.

Advocating the positive impacts of new-type urbanization and sustainable

development to the global economy, community and environment protection,

which will effectively improve coordinated development between infrastructure construction and environment protection across the world, and to facilitate synergy of towns and industries globally and to achieve balanced objectives of development for international towns.

The Urbanization Fund of the International Towns Federation  urbanization will be conducive to the development of urban planning, infrastructure construction, environment protection and and will become a new engine for international economic development.
