The vision of ITF is to bring together the strength and wisdom of the town builders, managers, experts and scholars engaged in small town research around the world and to build an international think tank specialized in global urban development and to take joint actions on tackling difficulties and challenges in the process of global urbanization.

The mission of ITF is committed to building a global cooperation platform for small scale cities and towns and to promoting the cooperation between towns across the world in order to achieve complementary advantages, resource sharing, and win win cooperation. Forming a strong synergy to promote the sustainable and healthy development of towns around the world makes the building-up of towns better and makes the residents living in towns happier!
